十一位教师、八位研究生及两位校友代表香港中文大学新闻与传播学院参与于2015年5月21日至25日举行的国际传播学会(ICA)波多黎各会议。本年度的会议题目为 「Communication Across the Life Span」。本院师生共发表了二十四篇独立撰写或合着的论文并主持三个小组讨论环节。为庆祝学院五十周年，学院联同国际中华传播学会及中国传媒大学于2015年5月23日晚假加勒比希尔顿饭店举行联合酒会。超过一百位来自世界各地的传播学学者参与出席当晚活动。

To commemorate the 50th Golden Jubilee of School of Journalism and Communication of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, an international conference “Comparative Communication Research: Reviews, Showcases, and Theoretical Advancements” is organized to bring together prominent scholars who have been engaging in comparative research in media and communication studies to discuss the current state of the art as well as future challenges and development of comparative communication research, especially amidst rapid social, political, and technological changes. The conference will also showcase significant comparative studies worldwide while putting emphasis on the research in Greater China and East Asia region.
