| 详情： | 过去三十年间，数字媒体兴起、而且日新月异。 新的媒体形式带来了新的研究问题，也提供了新的研究数据。 数字媒体会自动地储存用户的内容、行为、关系等数据。 越来越多的研究开始使用这类数据来探索人类社会中政治、经济、文化、健康等各种问题。 为了应对这些数据带来的机遇与挑战，计算社会科学（computational social science）应运而生。 计算社会科学在研究设计、数据处理、模型建构等方面已有许多有益尝试。 同时，一些新的质化研究方法也被运用到相应研究中，诸如数字人类学、批判算法研究等。 | |
