第十七屆傳播學訪問學者計劃2024「華人社會的平台化：平台治理、勞工和未來」 工作坊

詳情： 平台指的是一種新興的企業模式，以提供數位中介方式服務協調不同用戶群體，並透過數據提取以積累政治和經濟的權力。平台對媒體與文化生產的重置、勞動過程的轉換以及監管框架的爭議日益重要。學界關於平台研究的討論，包括Chinese Journal of Communication（2019 年）出版的華人社會平台化的特刊，逐漸對全球平台化發展路徑的統一性提出了質疑，並關注平台在不同國家和地區的可供性（affordance）、治理方法和政治經濟學等各方面的差異。換言之，平台的發展方式、管理不同的用戶群體、勞動過程的改變，以及對管治的挑戰都植根於特定的制度背景中。
